pencer donations go directly to our Food Pantry. Support the largest single-ay food drive in the United States by leaving non-perishables in a bag by your mailbox that day. Your letter carrier takes care of the rest. It’s that simple. (The extended weather forecast is for cloudy with a few showers. Please use plastic or reusable bags — no paper bags, please, just in case.)
Next Weekend (Saturday, May 11th and Sunday, May 12th)
Blessing of Prayer Shawls.
Our Prayer Shawls are hand-made, created with the talent God has given us. We hope the recipient can feel the love and prayers that went into the shawl, and that it brings some comfort and warmth with a reminder of God’s love for them. If you or someone you know is in need of a shawl (sick, recovering from surgery, loss of a loved one, lonely neighbor, etc.), they will be available after Masses this weekend. You can also call 508-885-6557 to request one. [Note: If you lose this number, it’s on the front of the bulletin.]
Mothers’ Day Rose for Life Campaign — sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and our local Council 118
The purchase of the real roses helps support Problem Pregnancy of Worcester. This all-volunteer agency provides alternatives to abortion through free counseling, pregnancy tests, ultrasound scanning, including physical and emotional support. The suggested donation is $2.00 per rose — all donations are welcome even if you don’t wish to purchase a rose. Your prayers and donations for the unborn are needed and greatly appreciated.
