November 30th: First Sunday of Advent
December 6th: Second Sunday of Advent
First Sunday of Advent Prayer (from our Faith Formation)
Lord God, help us to be watchful and alert this Advent season, filled with hope and love, prepare our hearts for the coming of your Son!
This Weekend: Spiritual Advent Angel
For those who are not familiar with our “Spiritual Advent Angel” tradition, it gives us the opportunity to pray for a specific person (or family) during Advent. But shhhhhhh…don't reveal who you are praying for just yet. Send a Christmas card to them during the 3rd week of Advent to reveal who has been praying for them.
To participate, please fill out a Spiritual Advent Angel form found in your pew this weekend. Hang on to them until Fr. Bill instructs us what to do.
Our Annual Giving Tree Program
We still have a few tags available for our Giving Tree program. If you haven’t yet taken a tag — or are able to take an additional one — your generosity will help us ensure that every gift request is fulfilled.
- There are several types of tags so be sure to take the instruction sheet that tells you whether to wrap, don’t wrap, or mail your gift. Any questions, please call the parish office at 508-885-3111.
- Return gifts to the church by Sunday, December 14th no later than 12 noon. This is the same day the gifts are distributed to the families.
This outreach program helps families in our Community, Seminarians of the Worcester Diocese, and assists the efforts of the Urban Missionaries of Our Lady of Hope on Canterbury St. in Worcester.
