June 29: Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul
July 5: 14th Sunday in Ordinary Time
This Week at a Glance
- June 28 & 29, all Masses, 2nd Collection: Peter's Pence
A second collection will be taken next weekend, June 28 & 29 for Peter’s Pence for the Holy Father. More information about this important collection can be found in a letter from Bishop McManus attached below.
Excerpt from Bishop McManus' letter:
"…This annual collection provides essential support for the Holy See’s activities and helps Pope Leo XIV assist the victims of war, oppression, and natural disaster around the world.
The collection has ancient roots that reach back to apostolic times. The early Christians provided material support so that the apostles — those preaching the Gospel —c ould distribute to those in need (see Acts 4:34-35, 11:29). Today, the Peter’s Pence Collection is an opportunity for the Church around the world to stand in solidarity with those in need.…"
- July 5 (Saturday): First Saturday Mass and Adoration
- 8:00 am: Mass followed by Exposition, Confessions, and Adoration
- 12:00 noon: Benediction
Partners In Charity 2025 Annual Appeal Update: Help us reach our goal by the end of June
Parish Goal: $43,000
Donations to Date (06/25/2025): 88% of our goal. With just $5,140 left to raise to reach our $43,000 target, we’re almost there.
Once a year, we commit ourselves to this ongoing work by supporting this life-giving appeal. We reflect on God’s great generosity and respond with generous giving of our own. With your support, faith in action is visible every day in the compassionate outreach of Catholic Charities, to the least among us; in the prayerful witness of our retired priests and the joy of new priestly vocations; to the many diocesan ministries and programs that heal, teach and care for others.
Watch the Appeal Video at home this week at www.partners-charity.net. If you have already made a gift to the 2025 appeal, we thank you. Your gift will help us in reaching our parish goal.
You can also make your gift online at www.partners-charity.net. Thank you!
Sponsor a Child for Totus Tuus
Children are our future and the relationships fostered at our Totus Tuus Summer Bible Camp can be life-changing steppingstones on their faith journey. Children come to camp from all walks of life, eager to learn, yearning to make new friends, ready to take on new challenges and discover the gifts that God has given them — gifts they didn't know they had. This is our fourth summer offering Totus Tuus and each year has been a wonderful opportunity for our parish community and beyond!
Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish does not charge families for Totus Tuus as we don’t want finances to be a barrier for any child to attend this amazing summer camp.
The parish has committed to taking on the full cost of the program which includes the cost to the Diocese for the program, hosting ( includes housing and food) the 4 member Totus Tuus team for the week, camp supplies/materials, and the daily lunch and snacks for all children and volunteers.
If you would like to help offset the cost to the parish, you can Sponsor a Camper for the week! Last year’s cost per child for a week of Totus Tuus was $200. A donation in any amount would be greatly appreciated.
